An-Najah Wins 2nd Place in the Arab Innovation Network Competition 2015‎

A group of the chemical engineering students at An-Najah won the 2nd place in the Arab ‎Innovation Network annual competition, a competition that brings together students, ‎entrepreneurs, academics and industrialists from the sciences & healthcare, engineering, ‎and environment from different parts of the Arab World.‎

Under the supervision of Dr. Shadi Sawalha, Lecturer at the Chemical Engineering ‎Department, Students Rana Shanaa, Tasneem Sarhan, Sandy Alawneh and Amira ‎Hussein presented their graduation project on production of powder grease using stone ‎cutting waste and used cooking oil.‎

The finals were held in Amman within the AIN Annual Conference.‎
